The flock descends,
the tides draw out;
and day is done.

Streaks of salmon and lavender
skitter across indigo skies,
as the moon waxes bright and full.

This is how we are drawn from sleep,
believing bodies need relieving,
When instead it’s our spirits
crying out for cosmic unity.
